Introducing Factory Supply

By PAUL HUMPHRIES

Factory Supply is a space for objects we believe deserve time.

The store brings together books, records, and audio equipment that sit somewhere between utility and culture. These are things made with intent, designed to be lived with, referenced, and returned to rather than replaced or forgotten.

Factory Supply grew out of an architectural and design practice, where material choice, proportion, and longevity matter. That same thinking applies here. We are interested in how objects are made, where they come from, and how they age. Many of the items we stock are second hand or produced in small runs. Some are new, but all are selected for their clarity of purpose and enduring relevance.

This is not a fast-moving shop. Collections will evolve slowly, and availability may be limited. Books may show signs of use. Records may carry a history. Speakers and audio equipment may be restored, modified, or built by hand. These qualities are not flaws; they are part of the object’s story.

Factory Supply exists as both a store and an archive in progress. A place to collect, study, and share the things that shape how we see, hear, and think.
